Web Basics for Real Estate Sites
Nothing beats the Web as a driver of real estate traffic. So making your business Web site relevant is an important part of smart marketing.
Here are some suggestions:
- Location, location, location: Make sure that you make it clear where your market is, including city, state and ZIP code, so search engines – and potential customers – know where to find you.
- Make the phones ring: Include your phone number. Some people are e-mail users, but others will want to pick up the phone.
- Make photos identify themselves: Tagging a photo to include location and your name and address, as well as a brief description will make video or photos findable by search engines and help potential buyers know what they are looking at.
- KISS: Keeping it simple is still important. If the technology your site relies on is too sophisticated, some potential buyers may not be able to view it.
