The St. Paul Area Association of Realtors named Tina Angell, branch vice president of Coldwell Banker Burnet’s Highland Park office, as its 2017 president. She will lead the 6,700-member area association with a strategic focus on growth and financial stability, collaboration, advocacy and leadership development.
Angell has more than 15 years’ experience in residential real estate sales, management and education at Coldwell Banker Burnet. Prior to her current position, she held positions as the company’s Director of Training and Agent Development and branch manager of its Crocus Hill office.
“Tina’s passion for our industry makes her an excellent choice to lead the St. Paul Area Association of Realtors” says Robin Peterson, president of Coldwell Banker Burnet. “She has been a wonderful leader at Coldwell Banker Burnet and will do an outstanding job in this new role.”
Previously at SPAAR, Angell held the positions of president-elect and treasurer. She currently serves on its executive committee and board of directors. Angell has also served on the association’s finance and communications committees. At the National Association of Realtors, Angell serves on the consumer communications committee.
“I have been volunteering at the local, state and national level for several years,” says Angell. “I want to give back to this great industry, to the agents that work so hard for their clients, and to the communities we serve. I also want to leave a legacy for my sons, to be remembered for what I have contributed to the world by volunteering and giving back.”
Angell is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Real Estate from the University of St. Thomas. She lives in Woodbury with her husband who is also a realtor and sales manager at Coldwell Banker Burnet. Between them, they have two sons in college and two sons in high school.
